West Highland Way

20th - 26th August 2017

The West Highland Way is one of Britain’s finest and best known long distance trails, running 154km (96 miles) from Milngavie, on the outskirts of Glasgow to Fort William at the foot of Ben Nevis. The route offers a fabulous experience of the Scottish Highlands.

It is a significant challenge, but perfectly achievable for most people, with appropriate preparation and training. A full itinerary will be available for participants but please contact Peter Long, Walk Leader on 07570798653 (peterlong@blueyonder.co.uk) with any immediate questions about the route.

This walk is based on a B&B basis with packed lunches available should they be required. Your evening meals, with drinks will be your responsibility.

You will need to be able to walk across some difficult terrain, on successive days before signing up. Please ensure you let us know in the medical form of any conditions that may affect your ability to complete the challenge. (Walk Leader will call to discuss)

One training weekend will be mandatory for you to participate on this challenge, the Walk Leader will advise dates and where these will take place. This will ascertain your fitness and commitment and allow us to ensure your safety during the walk.

All places are now full! To register your interest in our 2018 trek please email Emily on emily@rpfightingblindness.org.uk or call 01280 821334.
