Volunteers' Week 2017

01 June 2017

Volunteers’ Week is an annual celebration of the fantastic contribution millions of volunteers make across the UK, and takes place from 1st-7th June every year.

RP Fighting Blindness would like to take this opportunity to thank the many volunteers up and down the UK who help us do what we do, from our Helpliners to our community fundraisers and from our trustees to our Medical Advisory Board, without everyone who gives their time, expertise and energy to our cause, we thank you!

A message from our Chairman, Don Grocott:

I’d like to personally thank you for all of your hard work and commitment to your volunteer role within RP Fighting Blindness; without you and our other volunteers we would not be able to deliver our services and events throughout the year, which provide much needed support and information to the RP community. Without our fundraisers, who work tirelessly for the organisation raising money, we would be unable to fund all of the medical research which strives to find treatments for inherited progressive sight loss, so thank you to all and I look forward to continuing to work with you in the coming year.
