Self Defence Workshop For People with Sight Loss

Bhavini Makwana - Ambassador for RP Fighting Blindness is running a Self Defence Workshop For People with Sight Loss

Professional Instructors from the 1 Touch Project will be delivering a workshop to give helpful, easy tips on:

• Maximising Independence
• Increasing Confidence
• Social Interaction
• Adapting to Vision Loss & much, much more

If you are, or someone you know is dealing with sight loss and want to accomplish the above, then why not come along.

The 1Touch workshop is the first comprehensive descriptive self-defence program designed specifically for people who are blind or partially sighted. The program is a hands-on self-defence technique for dealing with all types of situations

Light Refreshments will be provided.

Date: Saturday 16th September 2017

Time:

Workshop 1 – 10:00am – 12:00pm (Registration at 09.30am)
Workshop 2 – 1:00pm – 3:00pm (Registration at 12.30pm)

Venue: The Thomas Pocklington Trust, BMA House, Entrance D, Tavistock Square, London, WC1H 9JP

Cost: £10.00 per person
(Proceeds from this workshop will be donated to RP Fighting Blindness)
