Leeds Information Day

RP Fighting Blindness is pleased to announce it will be holding its second regional Information Day of the year in Leeds. This event will focus on Inherited Retinal Dystrophies (IRDs) and syndromes, including retinitis pigmentosa and Usher syndrome.

The event will include presentations from the following:

• Mr Martin McKibben, Consultant Ophthalmologist
• Mr Raj Mukherjee, Consultant Ophthalmologist
• Oxsight Smart Glasses
• Leeds & Bradford Rehabilitation Teams
• There will also be talks from a number of patients living with these conditions

You will also have the chance to meet and discuss what support is available with local organisations supporting patients.

This is a great opportunity to find out more about Inherited Retinal Dystrophies the research, put your questions to the experts, meet other people and engage with the charity.

This event is free of charge, and is open to:

• Anyone affected by an inherited retinal dystrophy
• Family and friends
• Professionals working with affected families
• Anyone interested learning more about this important group of eye conditions

This event will take place on Friday 20 July 2018, 10.00am - 4.00pm at Leeds Society for Deaf & Blind, The Centre, St Mary’s Street, Leeds, LS9 7DP.
